One guest in particular had a lasting influence on this idea. We had known each other for several years and often spent time together outside of professional settings as well. Over time, our connection grew and we eventually became close friends. He valued prestige, structure, and high standards, and in many situations he would say with a smile:
“Follow the Protocol.”
That phrase stayed with me. It perfectly reflected the mindset I had developed through years of coordinating service and managing complex requests behind the scenes.
